Random Act of Kindness

The Robe community, through Debra and Richard Mackey of Happyshack, support local foster families in the South East with an occasional holiday weekend in Robe.

 

$25 will provide books & toys for children

$50 will go towards a 1/2 hour financial counselling session.

$150 will provide a homeless family with 2 nights accommodation whilst we help them secure safe long-term accommodation

* Homeless Youth Resilience scholarship
ac.care’s ‘
Homeless Youth Resilience Scholarship’ is an educational program with mentoring support.  Homeless Youth Resilience is not a traditional scholarship by way of just giving financial assistance, rather it is about combining some financial support with personal support to see a young person continuing their education whilst they overcome many other challenges in their life.

* Aboriginal creches
Gerard and Minya Porlar creches care for children in a culturally appropriate space in a matter that respects their culture and helps children with school readiness. Financial support provides indoor and outdoor play equipment, books and art supplies to develop children's physical, social, listening and creative skills.
