Privacy Policy

ac.care values your personal information and will take reasonable steps to protect all of your information which we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We will only collect information from you if it is relevant and allows us to provide you with a high quality services.

We will take reasonable steps to hold your information secure in an electronic or physical form. Our information is stored in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords. Within ac.care all our staff having access to your information are subject to confidentiality obligations. We will not disclose your information to any third party unless:

  •  You have consented to us to allow the disclosure
  •  The disclosure is necessary because you are at risk or harm
  •  We are legally obliged to disclose the information
  •  There is an overriding safety interest in the release of the information

Access and correction:

You can request at any time personal information we may hold of you. Depending on what is involved, you may be asked to contribute to the cost of providing the information. We may refuse to provide access to information held about you in situations where the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) and National Privacy Principles (NPPs) within the Privacy Act 1988 as amended allow us to do so. However, if we refuse access, we will always give you a reason for doing so.
